Return to the road

Thought I'd reintroduce myself - back on the road after an enforced break from driving. I stopped voluntarily during a fairly prolonged period of illness when I felt that my disrupted sleep pattern and lack of nutrition (eating was difficult to impossible much of the time) would probably turn me into a mobile traffic hazard. Then they did the operation I needed and I was officially a non-driver for a further 6 weeks. So now I'm back - surprised at first not to feel as rusty as I'd expected, and now, after a couple of weeks driving, starting to notice the flaws - nothing alarming, just a need to polish a few things up so that I can enjoy it properly again.
So that's it. :D

Welcome back.

Time for an EDA or an MDA.
:gear:

( Just joking. Know the feeling after a major back op and off 6 weeks, having to sell my Sports car as I could not get in it, or any others, and get a family hatchback. Well okay an Astra GSi with Recaros)

Best wishes Andy

Don't try to do it all at once but; each time you drive select something to improve on - smoothness - observation - signalling - positioning.
Try to re-align the holes in the Swiss cheese a slice at a time.

Good to see a voluntary driving ban, rather than a medically enforced one. You wouldn't see that from many people who might have been in your situation.
