Surprisingly cool looking car - is that matt black?
Nice bike...shame you haven't got it any longer (I've got a 1979 Kawasaki Z650 but it's been tucked up in the garage for far too long). The Harley is just plain evil...I can see the attraction.

Dark grey metallic, gunmetal-ish.

When I had the last bike I had something of a conflict of interests as another one of my past hobbies was skydiving, and whenever the weather was nice I was usually throwing myself out of planes which meant the poor bike was often sitting getting lonely. No longer skydiving and fast approaching 50 so the Harley's definitely more my kinda thing these days..

I'd imagine so, I've been reasonably active since I joined. Been to a couple of monthly meetings, did the group overtaking day (after only one drive out with Geoff ) and went up to Worcester for John G (Reg Local)'s talk last month too. Really enjoying myself so far.
It's going to be a bit of a challenge to get to a lot of the monthly meetings as I have regular teaching commitments three evenings a week but I'll be around for anything where I don't have a clash.

What's a Group Overtaking Day? How to overtake 6 cars at once?

Aha - our paths must have crossed as I was also at the Worcester meeting.
Small world - I'm quite close to Geoff (as the crow flies!)

Ah . . . the male menoporsche . . .
Your 'standard' is how you drive alone, not how you drive during a test.
