Thank you for this tip. I hadn't thought of doing this!

How do you remember all of these initialisms?
I have come across so many of them recently.
I'm pretty sure that when I learnt to drive the only one I had to know about was MSM. Is that still taught?

To add another acronym or two into the mix.....

For cornering, I was taught SIR (safety, information, reduction in forces). It worked for me, easy to remember and understand.

For setting off when stationary I was taught to check the sides to look out for Bob and Tom (Boys on Bikes and Twits* on Motorbikes).

I also made sure I could describe the specific named system steps during cornering, so Information blah blah, Position blah blah, Speed blah blah, and also manage to describe the 4 important things when cornering (correct position, speed, gear and able to stop the distance you can see to be clear etc.).

The actual words and style of commentary may be more in recognition of the examiners background than a requirement in and of itself!!!

*It wasn't Twits, but I didn't want to upset the bikers.

Is the determination of 'safety' based on information gathered? If so, ISR?

And the medical term for motorcyclists is 'organ donors' ;)
Your 'standard' is how you drive alone, not how you drive during a test.
