Re: Some news for you!

To put aside concerns about reliability and dealers, I have always thought that a true ADer could drive any car to its maximum potential. Is that not what Roadcraft is about? That most certainly isn't what Roadcraft is about. I doubt there are many on here who could truly drive any car to it's maxi...

Re: Some news for you!

You're a car fascist. In fact, you're the worst kind, a Skodaphobe. :lol BTW, it's Skodas. HTH. Yes it does, thanks. That's what happens when I edit two or three sentences back down to one and don't check my spelling. That is probably the only useful thing you have ever said on this forum. Or indee...

Watch out Lewis Hamilton... there's a Skoda on your tail! ;)

Re: Some news for you!

Silk, I love driving, and I like many, many cars. None of them are VWs or Skoda's. You may not like it, but most people are not rabid petrol-heads and prefer cars that don't bite back. I don't like you... deal with it. I don't dislike anyone. Do with that as you wish. I'm not a rabid petrol h...

Re: Some news for you!

TheInsanity1234, I am sure you will enjoy your car. The ones I tried drove very well for a small city car, revved nicely, were quite spacious for their size and overall a good little car. Let us know how you get on with it. :)

Re: Some news for you!

An Octavia estate may not be the most exciting box on the road, but I thoroughly enjoyed driving Dave's, and preferred it to the Swift. I'm glad you liked it, but it's still boring inside and out. The Swift is certainly an acquired taste, but the two cars are in no way comparable as they occupy ver...

Re: One of the dozen

Actually, there should be a forum where 'advanced' cycling can be discussed seriously. Why can't cyclists want to ride to a high standard, just like advance motorists and bikers? We all share the same roads, most cyclists drive cars too. Discussing cyclecraft with other road users is a good idea, al...

Re: Some news for you!

True, but I have been in two standard Octavias, diesels as I recall. Dull as dishwater internally and externally. Just like all the other Skodas. Like most of the generic VW group cars, outside of Porsche, Lambo and the Audi R8 (which really is too civilised for it's own good). There is no imaginati...
