I use Adidas Kundo trainers - they seem to be discontinued now though :( They are narrow enough and thin soled. I cannot wear flat soled shoes without orthotic insoles due to a lack of arch support - I have strange feet! I have a pair of Adidas trainers which I bought recently which are quite thick...

but... is there any point in using Amazon Fire Stick when Sky sports is wanted? As far as I am aware only nowTV offers SkySport - allowing you to get rid of the sky box and all the other gubbins / viging media box and cable... Alasdair quite expensive to get the sky sports package through nowTV tho...

Can I actually watch any channels live, or is it restricted to catch-up services?? It is primarily catch up services, but if the 'channel' you install offers you a live service then it can be live. you gleaned mostly correct, however most of the 'channels' on the ROKU box are free. The only ones you need to pay for are the ones from sky... and a few other really obscure ones. the ROKU does provide catchup services for all the usual channels, I mean there is a 'channel' for iPlayer, ITV Player,...

ours is a Humax PVR freeview box, with custom firmware installed - its this firmware which allows it, but is a faff to setup which is why I've never got around to it...
