Re: First accident...
Good point.
My father has been handling all the calls as understandably, I'm unable to do so. He says he's mostly just been highlighting the "suspicious nature" of their claims being altered etc.

Re: First accident...
I can't, of course, comment on this particular case, but often court action is used as a tactic to force a settlement. That means that cases like this may not ever come in front of the judge - although if they do settle, it may not be until the last minute. And I concur with Horse: do ask your Unio...

Re: First accident...
Sorry this has happened to you :( A few questions: - Do you (or parents) have any legal cover via payment (included or extra) on car or home insurance, or breakdown membership? - Are you still a student, if so can the NUS help? - Will the insurance company either support you or provide a copy of th...

Re: First accident...
Sigh... Just got a notification from my insurers that the TP's insurance company have decided to start court proceedings because my insurers are refusing to pay out for repairs as the TP is yet to offer any photographs of the damage he is claiming I have caused, and is yet to offer an opportunity fo...

Re: First accident...
So, just as an update. Still no progress with the case/claim. My father contacted the insurance company to ask for an update, and their update was that after they recieved the inspection report of my car, they contacted the "opponents" [insurer's word] to request colour photographs of the ...

Drivers driving less, but more traffic?
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-44849381 Interesting reading. To summarise: Young people are driving less, and car ownership amongst young people is decreasing, yet the government thinks that traffic density and the number of cars on the road will increase substantially over the next...
