The first time I tried to replace the bulbs on my old Scenic, it was a bumper off job and took half the weekend. I had it down to 2 hours by ...

Re: Headlights too bright
Add into the mix lighs that have the blue 'fringe' and, worse, orange/brown - as the car hits bumps that can appear like indicators flashing.

Re: M1 Minibus "Accident"
I've posted before about some research I took part in. It was actually aimed at developing tests for the effects of brain injury on driving, in particular trying to develop something more effective than a fields test. It involved 'driving' through a very simple computer-generated environment, follo...

Re: M1 Minibus "Accident"
TBH, I didn't know that it happened in darkness, in which case the hard shoulder theory is probably very valid - oh look, I didn't think of it! There have been many cases of drivers seeing tailights in lay-bys and following them, with fatal consequences. The expectation is 'hazards = hs', along with...

Re: M1 Minibus "Accident"
If not the mobile phone convesation, then what? The minibus had hazard warning lights flashing and the judge said that he should have been able to see the the stopped minibus for 9-11 seconds, which at a limited maximum speed of 56mph means that he travelled between 711 and 869ft without noticing t...

How I wonder is the hapless pedestrian supposed to distinguish which vehicle is doing what, and when?
So are you encouraging pedestrians to walk in front of human-controlled cars?
