Re: ROSPA Magazine - Readers Questions
Is "pretend it's not there" a valid approach to mini roundabouts?

Re: Cutting Corners - Major to Minor
With an awesome view through the junction, and what is approaching the junction from opposite direction on road I am travelling on, I would have no hesitation cutting off a good chunk of junction to maintain a safe stable manouvere. The above criteria are rarely met in my experience though unless it...

"Jumping" red lights for emergency services
I know it is illegal and discouraged, but I witnessed an MGB jump a red light and pull immediately in front of queue standing to his left (no junction encroachment), to let an ambulance through. Appeared to be no danger in the manouvere, and it reversed safely back into its original position after s...

Re: Return to the road
Good to see a voluntary driving ban, rather than a medically enforced one. You wouldn't see that from many people who might have been in your situation.

Re: Driving in the middle of London
It was fun as a one-off, but wouldn't fancy it long term. I think its likely that I enjoy driving much more when everything is moving, even if you are following a car or two. Probably comes from learning to drive in Devon where at the very worst traffic I deal with might be Exeter's rush hour, which...

Driving in the middle of London
Well, what an experience! :car: I normally reside in a nice quiet backwater town by the sea in Devon. My 2 mile commute to work on the seafront poses no problems. Therefore imagine the fun of attending an event at Buckingham Palace, driving (my VAN! :gear: ) into the middle of London (Chelsea) parki...

I'll have steering wheel cufflinks on - it's the only link to driving I could find to add to my suit

Re: RoSPA Buckingham Palace event 25/5/17
From the intial email that went out, it sounded like invites went to all groups to nominate 2 people (+2 guests so 4 in theory) to attend. It sounds like it is likely a general RoSPA event though, rather than anything strictly driving related. So probably a few there will be from the "When thin...

RoSPA Buckingham Palace event 25/5/17
Hi Just wondering if anyone else is going. Four of us are going from our group. From what I gather, invites went out to all RoSPA groups so curious if anyone else going - or has anyone else ever been to a Palace event? Will be a first for me - Country bumpkin from Devon going to the big smoke
