There have always been weirdos on the bus. Well, where I live anyway. The window lickers, non covering mouth sneezers, beer can talkers and the not showered in 7 weekers.
I was pretty much oblivious as a child of the Jim'll fix it types.

Re: will autonomous vehicles affect cycling?
I had never considered 'underage' people using autonomous cars alone. I find it hard to imagine a parent letting a 12 year old loose in the car without supervision. I suppose its not too dissimilar to catching the bus into town when I was younger, just less waiting around. Fewer potential weirdos too.

I just let them pass at the first available safe place. Essentially I plan as if I were trying to overtake me, once its 'on', I'll indicate left, slow a touch and hope they make the best of it.

What rpm is 30mph in 2nd, 3rd and 4th? Just curious.
You shouldn't experience excessive vibration at high rpm. Either you have no reference point for what it feels like in various other cars, or yours is a bit broken.

Re: BBC Panorama
I hang twice daily to decompress my spine and combat this shrinkage. In the morning from my hands and in the evening, upside down.
I got fed up with having to move my mirrors every day.

How does it work? Are you on partial throttle, or off it completely? At what point does it blip?

Re: Roundabout indicating
I have trouble with this roundabout from every angle. My Grandad lives in the cream house with the terracotta roof. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.4587325,-1.0467267,3a,75y,128.42h,70.01t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sszpIH34yQqdUaB9jXTNaJg!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 As you can see, it's right between two mini rou...

Left foot brake, then shimmy your right foot onto the fully depressed brake pedal while maintaining throttle position. Then put your left foot back onto the clutch and finish off the sequence.
