Re: EU - where did it go wrong?
Given that my workload has tripled since the start of the year, I would beg to differ that we've stopped building, quite the reverse. We do currently have an issue with profitability when it comes to house building. The price of land has gone through the roof, so you have to build fewer, bigger hous...

Re: Intensity
Not as low speed as you might think. I've seen plenty of people with their hands in that particular position. And before reaching the slight tightening of the bend. I was intrigued as to just how inflexible others might be (given that I'm in the 'whatever works' camp)

Re: Intensity
/pedant It's pull-push... But, seeing as you raised it, could those who do it to the exclusion of all else (where possible) and in the Roadcraft diagram style only explain what happens to control if the steering wheel angle required is 180 degrees? Oh, and, other than the look of the thing, are ther...

Re: EU - where did it go wrong?
One, I think, is that the EU doesn't seem to have a policy to handle large scale migration from accession countries. It doesn't need one - it's free movement after all. Two, I gather, is that sometimes the accession rules with respect to economic convergence don't seem to have been properly applied...

Re: The EU - Leave or Remain?
You should hear some of my overly intellectual or London-based friends then. They're either railing against the idiots who voted leave or doomsaying how badly off Insanity's generation are going to be once it all pans out - probably/possibly.

Re: The EU - Leave or Remain?
Speak for yourself about the wrinkly bit... I too was impressed by the turnout. Perhaps we should revert to a two party system (nationwide - get rid of the SNP and all the other parties - if only to see the look on Sturgeon's face) and have a simple YES/NO question: Do you still want the Tories in p...

Re: The EU - Leave or Remain?
I was subject to insane amounts of pressure to do as well as I possibly can. Really? I think you'll find that those gainfully employed people on here have the same amount of pressure (and probably more if you work in something safety-critical like I do) every day, so apologies if you find us somewh...

Re: The EU - Leave or Remain?
We've voted to leave. 52% to 48%. I hope you're all fucking happy. Think of it less of a poor decision on our part and more of a pre-emptive strike on those miserable 18 year olds with a sense of entitlement who are moaning that life is sooooo unfair and that education hasn't instilled the importan...
