Re: Groups
Jim If you live near Didcot or thereabouts then the Oxford group is your closest group and cover your area. If you fancy looking at Thames Valley Advanced Motorists they are the adjacent group....take a look at https://tvgam.org.uk/ for more details. You could speak to the IAM Roadsmart HQ and disc...

Hi Peoples, I used to belong to IAM Oxford, but their centre of gravity seems to have moved off in the Banbury direction and I'm 14 miles south of Oxford. Are there any groups (IAM or ROSPA) in my general direction that do drive-outs and stuff? I would like to buck for Observer so I can't go on bein...

Re: Best features to look for when buying a new car.
I suspect that unless AI takes a great leap forward, Overtake Assist for the overtaker would be impossible to implement. If it was tried I suspect it would be a pant-filling experience.

Re: Best features to look for when buying a new car.
I still think 2 lane DCs need a technology to make people move left when they're not actively overtaking and have someone following. And motorways of course...I travelled about 50 miles from Worcester to Bristol yesterday early evening and it was reasonably quiet and in that time I came across prob...

Re: Reg Local - How to pass an Advanced Driving Test
I had trouble with the Google Earth links, had to swap to a different browser  Also, the odd orientation was a bit ... odd! the advanced direction signing is only 150 m before the slip. Clearly the authorities are trying to discourage south-bound vehicles from using the A343, presumably prefe...

Re: Reg Local - How to pass an Advanced Driving Test
:gear: :gear: Now from driving days you may remember(?) I have two Saab 9-5's one a manual (the red one) and one an auto (the grey estate). They look exactly the same inside. I just get in and drive. For the life of me I can't really tell the difference as to what I do, except I probably wiggle the ...
