Re: Clutch - heel & toe
Some of us understood what Horse meant, but then I read the title AND the detailed explanation. ;) This happens a lot on Facebook where people comment, rage, and like things based on the title and never read the detail. The spammers, click baiters, and those with other motives, use this to great eff...

Re: A few more videos
Ah, left handers. Me too. I tend to sit wide in a strong position a long way out, but as I get closer I move in. I understand the argument of being out wide and going slow IN A CAR. A fender bender, while not desirable, is 'just' money/inconvenience at low speed. On a bike, it still, at the very lea...

Another. GMPAy3bhcY0 Here's a little clip to show why we keep tucked over to the left in a right hand bend ... until the view opens up! I'm the bike ahead of the camera. This was a narrow country lane and we could debate being close to the entrances, but the lesser of the two evils I think you'll ag...

Re: Clutch - heel & toe
I've never had a car where I could do that. Perhaps he has big long feet.

Should you be driving from the passenger seat?

I think that a lot of people do watch their speedo too much if they are sticking to the limits.
How many of us do that, or do we set our speed and then listen to the engine?

Re: Potential downside of speed enforcement?
If you gave people a defined leeway, surely they'd just re-calibrate. I know that's what I'd do. Regarding IAM, how would you like it handled? Say "stick to the limit or thereabouts". You should be driving/riding inside your own limits AND those of the law. Not difficult to understand. Not...

Re: I got snapped by a camera
[Don't you do hints & tips during normal training runs? :hit: ] Training runs? Do you mean Observed Rides? Then, of course we do, but those rides are one on one with an Associate who hasn't passed the test and is preparing using the IAM Roadsmart Course book. If by Training Runs, you mean Socia...
