Re: Motorcycle videos
It's an interesting point. If you are out there and you see several bikes astern, clearly riding as a group, you are more likely to ease off to let the group pass ....

Re: Motorcycle videos
Interesting point John. I am not sure that the "examples" of commentary bandied about are actually that helpful. They seem to suggest that the driver is required to provide a full running commentary in full grammatical sentences whereas surely it is sufficient to make fairly short and cryp...

Re: Best fetures to look for when buying a new car.
What I do not want ... ⋅ electronic hand-brake Until I got the Leon, I would have agreed. But not now. That said, I have no idea on the maintenance and longevity aspects (although having a frozen handbrake cable on the Astra meant being 'creative'). Um. in the "old days" one cou...

Re: Importance of surprise horizon

On these little roads one can have many and varied Surprise Horizon events inclduing horses, lycra...

Re: Smart Motoways
See IAM roadsmart have put their head above the parapet on smart motorways. What could be done would be to put a red X over lane one, oh and then publicise that this IS now the hard shoulder. Money better spent than those T......g insects. That advert is unbelievably stupid I suspect that 75% of dr...

Re: Best fetures to look for when buying a new car.
When I used to travel a lot on business, I have on sometimes hired cars at foreign airports and had Unpleasant Surprises. These have included my first experience of stop/start causing me to struggle getting out of Oslo airport thinking I was continually stalling, the weirdness of lane nudging on the...
