Re: I passed my advanced test today.

Well done indeed, that's a real achievement. Make sure you treat this as the start of your AD journey and not the end. :)

Re: Live Fast, Drive Hard - My RoSPA Diary

Some interesting replies guys, thanks to you all. :) ...Nick, get the book read and watch the videos; they're really good. The book is very much a 'real world Roadcraft for civvies' with some nice anecdotes and real life examples. Cough ... ... I do have his book, although I haven't had time to open...

Re: Live Fast, Drive Hard - My RoSPA Diary

Nick, you probably just know it by another name, or don't call it anything specific. For the benefit of those who ...

Re: Live Fast, Drive Hard - My RoSPA Diary

Thanks guys, I'm glad you thought it worth writing up. :) Nick, as I said I did have to abridge it as otherwise I could easily have filled several more pages lol. I normally do use acceleration sense, as if nothing else third party expectation fits better with more gradual slowing. The whole 10 feet...

Live Fast, Drive Hard - My RoSPA Diary

Well as requested in my introductory thread, I've decided to keep a diary of my experiences and progress through RoADAR / RoSPA Merseyside group's training and test. If anyone's really interested after this taster I'll knock up a website and make a blog of it for ease of access, and just post up her...

Re: Another Škoda owner (and ADUK refugee)

Definitely something to think about martine, but with a pregnant wife and a 10 month old who's just learnt to crawl I might be pushing my luck for this time around! I'll definitely try though.
