Re: Tyres fitted to front or rear
I was always a best on the front man until a long discussion on the old IAM Forum and some online reading. Now I get the newest put on the rear ... even if I have to argue the case with a dealer. Have had similar 'discussions' with my dealer when they rotated and muddled the tyres up despite advice ...

Re: Latest bit of idiocy
It can see parked cars as there's plenty of footage showing it unable to deal with on street parking of the uk. Sometimes queuing behind the parked vehicle.

I've uploaded the 3rd and final video to my series on roundabouts. There's a playlist on my channel that will play all three of them in order.

Re: Block Changes - How Many Do You Miss?
So take an early, nicely rev matched, gear change as you join the slip. How is this not systematic? It's a change of circumstances/traffic levels/flowing speed and is often going to be down hill. Yes, even on motorbikes. Drivers and riders often want to stay systematic but complain their vehicle won'...

Re: Been a naughty boy?
Yes, the queue of sheep behind the target. On a motorbike dealt with one at a time (mainly) but I'll admit the gaps are not great and I will brake while entering.
Once behind the lorry I then make a gap to it so I am not right up its backside and I can see.

Re: Been a naughty boy?
Ah, the "You will not pass" driver. There are lots about. Yesterday I overtook an Audi stuck behind a caravan. It was a country road so could only pass the Audi. Dropped into the space and after the next right hand bend took the caravan. My two colleagues behind me also went to do the same...

Re: A few more videos
Horse, that's what I do also. Was suggested by an ex-police rider who was an examiner in the IAM. At the end of the day you have to advise people to consider doing one. It's a bit Clint Eastwood. "Are you feeling lucky punk?" Some people ride with little ongoing awareness of what is going ...
