Re: The EU - Leave or Remain?
*sigh* Well. I'll apologise for the way I've conducted myself. No need to apologise; we'll just put it down to immaturity. If more of your young friends had bothered to get off their arses and vote, I'm sure the result would have been different. I speak as someone who's approaching eighty and who v...

I tried but found the pins protruding either side of the base were differently located
Reminds me of the DRL's on my Volvo 480: you could fairly easily fit bulbs with non-offset pins but if you did, the pop-up headlamps would misbehave.

A car, 5 bicycles, a trike and two legs. But not all at the same time.
What car is it?
Don't encourage him.

Re: RoSPA launches website to keep older drivers safe on the roads
It's just that my parents, for whatever reason, have decided to raise me in a pretty sheltered way, so I almost never go out by myself, even now. This does mean when I do go out, my parents are often very inquisitive and they dislike me meeting people off the internet. I do have plans to become mor...

As for contributing 'negative or sniping comments', I don't think silk is any more guilty than I am. Maybe I ought to grow up, too: but it's getting a bit late for that. There is a difference: your contributions are frequently amusing; those of silk are usually of an unpleasant sniping nature...
