Re: Motorcycle videos

other than walking pace maneuvers where the bike is kept upright and you actually steer 'normally' This could become an involved derail ...:D About 4.10, when he's riding towards the camera. I did say "where the bike is kept upright". So at gravelly car parks/junctions where you can't do ...

Re: Motorcycle videos

Not sure where countersteering popped up from, or if you comment is tounge in cheek. However, each turn would have been initiated by countersteering (other than walking pace maneuvers where the bike is kept upright and you actually steer 'normally'.)

Re: Motorcycle videos

I'm often asked what my everyday riding is like when I'm not observing or making videos. Well here's a refresher ride for myself on a mix of town, dual carriageway and country B roads. This is your chance to see the ride, warts and all, from the view of a mentor, and observe what my positioning and...

Re: End of 20mph growth?

I commented the following on a similar Facebook post. Can local councils be trusted to set the limits? They'll be setting them all over the place just to be seen 'doing something' and because 'all the other councils are'. There was much more consistency of limits before councils were allowed to set ...

Re: Posting pictures

For those concerned I use FastOne's image viewer software to remove personal data from pics.

It's also great for basic editing, cropping, format changing, repairing etc. You can also script it to do the same thing to multiple images.

And it's FREE for personal use.

Re: Posting pictures

I'd suggest you remove any EXIF data from your pics before posting anywhere. FB etc. do this automatically. they might do it in the public version but you can bet it's filed in one of their databases somewhere. Yep, done for the photos they serve to others. The GPS co-ords are why it can sugg...

Re: Posting pictures

FB etc. do this automatically. Facebook? Highly unlikely that it will affect you, but their T&Cs given them permission to sell your images. (In)famous case where they sold a UK beach holiday picture to Aussie advertisers. Unfortunately, it featured an under-16. Err, you have to be careful just ...

Re: Posting pictures

... did not know how to remove EXIF data (don't know what that is) but it seems to have worked. Maybe I should remove the image in a few days. I've just downloaded the image and can glean the following info from it. This may or may not be a concern to you in the future depending on the photo and wh...

Re: Posting pictures

What is the easiest free way to put up a photo? Try this ( https://imgbb.com/ ). No need to register. It even generates the code to put in your posting for you and does thumbnails, small images and full fat ones. I'd suggest you remove any EXIF data from your pics before posting anywhere. FB etc. d...
