Re: Bought a new Range Rover Sport HSE Dynamic

No, but the sat nav shows the current speed limit roundel in the corner of the screen, on a section of road I use most days it shows 60 mph whilst the posted speed limit is 50 mph and has been so for a number of months now. The Traffic Sign Recognition system would display the correct limit.

Bought a new Range Rover Sport HSE Dynamic

My retirement present to myself, it’s a well spec’d vehicle already but the addition of a few bells and whistles made it my ideal vehicle. The first, Pixel laser Headlights, 140 individual lights which are switched on and off automatically in response to surrounding traffic, the improved vision is q...

Re: Associate cannot keep to the speed limit

Horse said In comparison with 'what'? If I remember correctly before the introduction of IPSGA or its equivalent back in the day, police drivers were involed in an accident, on average, every 8,000 miles, following training, accidents happened on average every 40,000 miles - it appears to have worke...

Re: Motorists should be penalised for going just 1mph over the speed limit, Britain’s road policing chief says

The root of tfhe problem never seems to be addressed, is it too big an issue, are there too many drivers out there to even contemplate further training to improve driving standards on a national front. The police chief has the answer right there on his desk - perhaps! "The Roadcraft system of c...

Rolyan -whist I fully understand a "50's working class upbringing" and sympathise with your situation since than, this thread has swerved off course, read page 1 again. It's what's happening now in society and how the lack of discipline, regard for the laws of the land, personal responsibi...

Rolyan, you live in a beautiful part of the country, cocooned from the realties out there in the real world, and by the way, I would love to have the address of that rose coloured glasses shop that you frequent.

Re: Life sentences

"That rather bleak view" desevers some further discussion and whilst I recognise some of Martin’s arguments and agree with some of his sentiments I do feel that the “bad” greatly outweighs the “good” in society at large, take for example: - 1. Explosions, attacks in the street where vehicl...
