Re: Best driving roads - Based on experience.

Remember that group of riders of vintage machines we had to follow for about 15 miles through the Elan valley some years ago ...

Re: Best driving roads - Based on experience.

Hehe - I followed a m/c on Thursday afternoon on the twisty roads of North Worcestershire for a while. He had a pillion, so this may have been the cause of the eventual outcome. He was doing very nicely, and I followed at a respectable distance, but keeping up everywhere. Eventually he pulled over a...

Re: Best driving roads - Based on experience.

Ah, so for car drivers, the best roads would be any not mentioned on that site then - I find it very tedious having to be side-stepping motorcyclists coming towards me with their head and half their bodies on my side of the white line on left handers ... not to mention having to be constantly alert ...

Re: So do you know the Highway Code?

Despite all the discussion on here (which I deliberately didn't read, although I should have been more cautious) I managed to get the seatbelt one wrong by reading the answers too fast. Ho hum. Got 9/10. Must try harder :(

Re: Video, Youtube etc

No, sorry, you can't. To do that would mean we would have to provide storage for your files, which is not something on the radar just now. There are umpteen free photo album storage solutions on the web, PhotoBucket, Flickr, OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox to name only a few. All of these will allow...

Re: Pedestrians - victim or cause?

I'm surprised it's as low as 23%. Unless cars are continually mounting the pavements, pedestrian vs. car accidents generally involve pedestrians in the road, and I'm surprised that 77% of the time cars are hitting them if they're in a legitimate place with priority over the car.
