Re: Lurking

Alternatively we could just drive our own cars as best we can, and not bother about the oddities displayed by others. Just a thought.... 8-) Best wishes all, Dave - just as laid back (and unhelpful) as ever. ;) Unfortunately other peoples oddities often have an adverse affect on us. Nigel. Yes of c...

Re: Leaving your car in gear when parked

Just like the "accelerator/brake override" problem which means you can't left foot brake in most modern cars any more  Indeed. Most of us are quite capable of using the controls correctly without needing technology to tell us. ;-) Indeed, and some of us jolly well do not want techno...

Re: Diesel now bad?

Given the prevailing south-westerly wind that would not be a good idea; cf sulphur dioxide emissions from power stations creating acid rain which killed pine trees downwind in Norway. In that case, Yorkshire may be better. No one of any importance lives there. Oi, that's enough of that. :P Best wis...

Re: Winter to summer tires

As for contributing 'negative or sniping comments', I don't think silk is any more guilty than I am. Maybe I ought to grow up, too: but it's getting a bit late for that. There is a difference: your contributions are frequently amusing; those of silk are usually of an unpleasant sniping nature...
