Not so sure about that. Even if they can't touch your license for points, the fines can be large, and they will confiscate your car if you can't pay.

the satnav proved very useful doing exactly as you suggest as we made progress through the night in a subaru driven by my friend - sharp left 50, bridge ahead etc. :) When road-rallying it was amazing how much info your nav could give you from a Landranger - but at least on local maps their job als...

Well, I meant the technology should NOT be relied upon to enable you to fly around corners blindly, but what I meant is they would be useful in helping you be aware of someone driving in the opposite direction at an inappropriate speed. A couple of years ago I was mostly using public transport or cycling to work. I'd go out to practice/drive for fun, because otherwise I wouldn't have been driving at all (and with wales on the doorstep, it would have been rude not to!).

Not that I'm aware of - but if you mean the Pikes Peak version wasn't it just a 205-T16 with a 405 silhouette stuck to it?
