right - dealing with it - my apologies for this...
have locked down registration to admin approval ponly for now
currently switched off private messages in case they spam those before I can wipe the users
am working through the users to remove them - will update shortly

looks really good and intelligently links on VIN as I checked a car which has had its reg. plate change and it correctly picks it up back through previous number plates

I seem to remember a study which looked at that in the context of driving - and it helps explain why motorists can miss cyclists an bikers at junctions, as they are literally blind to them - the biker moving within the area they are 'not seeing' as they scan... the comment about reading other words ...
