Re: EU - should the UK have joined the Euro currency?
In my opinion yes we should have. Wow really? I'm really glad we didn't (and I voted remain) - with Greece being propped up and some others also to a lessor extent, I can't see how such different economies can be successfully merged. It would also make leaving much more difficult (and I voted remai...

Re: The EU - Leave or Remain?
In respect of 'damage done' a good friend from Northern Ireland has been having nightmares at the prospect of more civil strife in the province.

Re: The EU - Leave or Remain?
Seriously people, give TheInsanity1234 a break. On top of that, this has been very traumatic for a large part of the British people and thus cannot and will not heal overnight. The facts are simple: despite all that doom and gloom talk, the EU cannot simply toss around the fifth largest economy in ...

Re: EU - where did it go wrong?
It will be interesting to see how our own 'elf and saferty' fascists will react to this change. It's my considered opinion that the vast majority of this is true home brew and not imported. I must make it quite clear that I do not believe in people being killed and injured in their jobs just to keep...

Our victims we discovered had a significant proportion of tunnel vision and short-sightedness. I have always born this in mi...

Re: EU - where did it go wrong?
Perhaps another way of looking at this is the the UK has now joined the vast majority of other countries in the world. They, the other countries, don't have stable (well sort of) governments elected every five years; there's no 'I see Labour's in now'. I wonder if we have relaxed, became complacent,...
