Re: Some news for you!
It has been said (to paraphrase) that the true test of a driver is how he drives when he picks up an unfamiliar hire car in an unfamiliar foreign city at night. After a 12 hour flight! Not a good idea to then head straight up into the mountains and above ice level. But hey, I didn't crash it, right...

Re: One of the dozen
P.S. I like Silk....it's cyclists I don't like! Do we need a forum on advanced cycling?! Welcome Alasdair Oxymoron? One would hope it should be, after all such a simple and efficient means of transport should be open to all ages (from 8 to 80+) and abilities. Unfortunately the dominance of the road...

Re: Lurking
Or indeed why when I approach them to pass in the outside lane, some people will fractionally increase their speed as my nearside front comes alongside their offside rear. I didn't get there by going the same speed as them, I haven't varied my speed; but they give me the choice of exceeding (my inte...

Re: Not "far below the acceptable standard"
Hmmm not enough info there to make a judgement but it will be interesting to follow the court case. Point missed? The allegation is that the driver "repeatedly and deliberately" rammed a car on a busy motorway. Apparently this is not enough for a charge of Dangerous Driving to be brought,...

Not "far below the acceptable standard"
If this isn't, just what is? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-northamptonshire-35744590
That's just a bit careless apparently
A lorry driver who allegedly "repeatedly and deliberately" rammed a car on a busy motorway has been charged with careless driving.
