I always found cycle lanes as a cyclist difficult driver expect you to stay within the lane often the lanes end just before the apex of a left hand bend etc. Cycle lanes bound with armadillos were even worse as you were effectively confined to the lane so could not easily pass slower cyclists.

We had an observer who insisted that associates put chin to shoulder for blind spot checks, He was also a CBT instructor. He was very prescriptive with what he expected for everything , real painting by numbers sort of guy.

It is a blind spot check. If I didn't know where my shoulder where then I guess I would do a shoulder check, but if I had lost my shoulder I guess I would have bigger concerns. I would disagree, I quite often talk to riders about being too stiff using straight arms locked elbows gripping the handlebars, unable to consciously counter steer. This is particularly true of middle aged riders coming back to biking and buying a litre plus sports bike as their first bike in 20 yea...

The system allows you to press firmly on the accelerator to over-ride the 'speed control'. If it works the same as on my car with the limiter set ( motorway roadworks etc) then to over ride it that way is far too slow. You have to floor the pedal and keep it there some time before it start to speed...

For: One will be more comfortable over the potholes. One handy if you get a puncture and the last on helpful if you are tired .
Against One no power and easy to puncture, one covers the speedo and the last would be difficult to filter with.
