Taking a look around most days. Am wondering if I'm brave enough to try organising a driving day, if I can pinch a set of routes from someone - there was one Woodstock way, I seem to remember, which was good fun....

As for yellow cars, she told me to grow up and act my age when I looked at an Ibiza FR in yellow. I almost bought a Caterham in a lovely shade of yellow, and I test drove a Lotus Elise in a similar colour. Both looked great, but it doesn't suit most cars. A yellow Octopus VRS probably wouldn't work...

Re. dog transport. Would urge you to go for a suitable harness on the back seat (also a suitable seat cover to protect against muddy paws!). That's what I do with my canine companion because a) the most common collision is the rear-end shunt and b) your boot is also your rear crumple zone. She's to...
