The worn out marking show both lanes for turning right not left as per opening question. Personally it would depend. If the right hand lane had a much shorter queue then my plan A would be use that and if safe to take the first exit then do it is a broken line dividing the lanes. if not I would do a...

If drivers actually used lane 1 as the driving lane and all others for overtaking only then maybe tailgating would not be such a problem

Fuel consumption. Are all read outs limited to a minimum of 7mpg? I had an ex police Vauxhall Omega for a couple of years. When driving that spiritedly it would show 7mpg but no lower.

Bring back the Morris minor and Ford Popular. Life was much simpler then. For a start you have a maximum of 4 forward gears.

Hi On the BMW box yes, works well and if you end up in full manual its easy to just flick the gear stick right to go back into auto.

I have a stop star on the car I find that if stopped just for a short time holding the foot brake keeps the engine stopped but reducing the peddle pressure in anticipation of moving off starts the engine and I can move forward smoothly.
