Re: Insta360 OneX in Renault Clio Hybrid
The latest ones are about £450 but I picked up an original model for about £150 secondhand off ebay. You can see it with more conventional views here, (link below) where being able to rotate the view in the edit is really useful. All the footage used here was shot in one pass from the one camera. ht...

Re: An interesting, if unsettling, development.
See 3.1 here https://www.gov.uk/guidance/mot-inspection-manual-for-private-passenger-and-light-commercial-vehicles/3-visibility "You can remove items such as a sat nav or air fresheners that obstruct the driver’s view of the road. However, make sure you tell the driver." Hmm, seems nobody ...

Insta360 OneX in Renault Clio Hybrid
No commentary or tips, etc., just trying out my Insta360 OneX camera in my Renault Clio E-Tech Hybrid while driving in one pedal (almost) mode. An interesting perspective on the dual carriageway clip where you can see the driver and the road ahead in one shot. It struggles a bit with the difference ...

Re: IAM members assessment
The simple fact is ex-plods are becoming rarer, more so on the 2 wheeled side. Fellowship IAM membership has 3 year re-testing, just the same as ROSPA. Unless you particularly want to gain a f1rst, talk to your local group who I am sure would be happy to take you out on assessment, probably for the ...

Thanks.
It's interesting that there's a nod towards how much more dangerous this can be for motorcyclists dealing with situations while turning.

Oh dear he's pushing it again BUT this time he's added loads of caveats.

Re: Highway Code Review for cyclists, pedestrians and horse riders
Another ADI offers advice: https://youtu.be/X4-PoCp8GPE He's a sensible chap, partly because he has/had a VX220. He says in the video he thinks it was meant to only apply to T junctions. YES that's why the schedule changes clearly talk about turning into a side road. Also the rule us only in the ju...
