Re: Old ADUK...oh dear

Well this is a quote from his web design site about ADUK. "With over 30,000 visits a month it helps drivers with a range of motoring related issues. It has a popular UK Traffic reporting facility and one of the largest advanced driving forums in the world, which has over 2,000 active members an...

Re: Old ADUK...oh dear

Does anyone know where I can find 'get a passport for any country' and the 'Date sexy Thai women' posts because they've now gone and a google search just doesn't seem to be finding what I'm looking for??

Standards of driving in USA

Having been here for a few weeks now I have to say the driving in general is atrocious. The reactions to everything is so late, with drivers causing stationary queues in relatively light traffic through not reacting to a situation and braking late. You can get sea sick from all the stop starts. The ...

Re: Confessional

The biggest lesson that can be taken from the drive, is you realise the drive could of been better. Reflective practice is the best method of learning. I get in my car sometimes and drive a bad drive. I like to learn from it then start again, in the hope the next drive will be better. Thankyou Fath...

Re: Audi, Porsche join VW scandal.

My retired father with too much time on his hands has got himself some solar panels. He has 30 high capacity batteries in the garage and 24 solar panels on the roof and another 6 on the house. He was telling me that in peak sun he is producing over 30kw per day. He has this fancy system that can sel...

Re: Tuning boxes

I had a tuning box by DTUK and I imagine it's similar to Ricks M3 where the ecu is locked. It connected to numerous places around the engine bay and did make a noticeable difference up to 355 on modest settings. You can set it higher but risk faults if you push it. Keep them on modest settings and y...

I always ask them, "Foggy, Sir?"

I always get the same response of "eh"

"Clearly your memory is foggy of what the 'fog' lights are for! I will give you a clue, the answer is in the question"

"Ohhh, sorry"

Re: Fog

A lot of people don't seem to have any problems having their rear fog lights on come the first sign of a 3m reduction in visibility and then leavng them on for the next 3 months!

Cost of driving in the US

I've been having a look at leasing whilst I'm in Florida and the deals just make you sick. A 2016 BMW M5 for $875 a month which is £560! They don't seem interested in options as they all seem to be fully loaded regardless of the model. All the 528i I've looked at have sunroofs and all the pack...
