Because they have adapted and don't ride fully like that now. ;)

The whole point I was making with regard to regimented shoulder checks that Crr003 said his examiners required.

Re: A few more videos

Interesting you raise that set of videos I have them grouped together here. https://www.suffolk-advanced-motorcyclists.com/sam-video-the-way-we-were.html I was going to link to the Roadcraft one when originally replying to Crr003, but I was on the phone at the time and the editing was too difficult ...

Re: A few more videos

Horse - You'll need to explain further I'm not sure of the point you are making to crr003. Interestingly, is he showing blues? If not, why has the car stopped in the RAB to his right to allow him to join? The lorry on the motorway didn't give him any priority and the rider's speed certainly didn't s...

Re: A few more videos

Interesting at about 3:15 and the justification for no left shoulder check. We've (Group) got a couple of examiners at the moment who are both biker and car Plod and they are critical if an Associate (car) trys to leave a roundabout without a nearside shoulder/blind spot check so I've taken to beat...

Re: Mazda removing touchscreens from cars

I've got a Mazda and it has the most simple controls, but everything I actually need. I can use my phone or navigation if needed. It is mind you a 19yr old MX5. I have never felt I needed any more buttons with one exception. I would prefer if it had air conditiong - but that's it that all. Don't yo...

Re: A few more videos

Well here it is, my first voice-over video, rather than live commentary. A couple of word stumbles but I'm pleased with the editing results. :) BKIwXIr7SaA Some hints and tips for planning our entry, smooth path, and exit and on some urban roundabouts in the UK, while riding a motorcycle, so that we...

Re: Mazda removing touchscreens from cars

Good. Let's hope others follow. I'm glad my car still has real buttons for the main functions. You need something tactile if you are to use it while on the move. In similar madness to the rush to put all controls on a difficult to use touch screens, the move now on some bikes is to illuminate button...

Trail Braking - Flavour of the month/year?

YouTube is awash with Trail Braking videos for motorcycling. This has come about with a lot of promotion of the technique by Nick Ienatschin in Motorcycle World magazine (and their YouTube channel). MYI0x-63Unc Your thoughts? How do you deal with the topic if it arises with Associates? I've ignored ...
