Just wondering if it is worthwhile looking for a 2nd hand diesel £4000 ish. I know the tax is likely to rise from the current low £30 but by how much, any ideas? or should I be looking at petrol only? Hoping to keep it for a reasonable length of time.
Recently swaped my original feeble Micra horn for a Corsa one. Not too loud but at least it can be heard. Works on distant cyclists, lane swapping Audis and Purley Way traffic in general. Brill.
I thought that the roads would be relatively clear by 2 oclock. Sadly not so, must have left it too late. The nice national B road near me was full of bods doing 40 to 50 with no apparent reason. I was under the impression that these could pick out untaxed, uninsured and mot failure vehicles. So why does the Swinton ad. state that there are one million uninsured drivers out there? Can this be right?
One before the last R09. I did her last Commission 65 to 66 on 803 Squadron Scimitars. Must of been the last of the wooden hulled ones. I only remember Buccaneers, Gannetts, Seavixens and Sopwith pups. My seasickness probably around the same time as Riks mum was suffering from morning sickness. Mmm...
