Re: Potential downside of speed enforcement?

Wonder if any IAM (sorry Roadsmart) candidates suffer from the same problems as the strict group. ;)

Re: Brands Hatch club racing

I was down there too, supporting a friend in the car I raced last year, the BMW E36 328i in Roadsports. I was also there to investigate the Locosts you mentioned. Seemed like a great series with very close racing and a friendly paddock, so hopefully should be entering next year. Blimey small world!...

It will certainly beat the ball in a saucer for improving your smooth driving. For extra warmth just sharply accelerate light up the soft furnishings/mats etc. and your away.

Re: Cognitive bias and the "thirds" rule

Something must have kicked in, that looks more like a 30mph hit rather than a full 65mph. Still what was wrong with looking out the ....... window and perhaps seeing the flashing blue/red lights before the car detected an obstruction.

Sorry but isn't that the speed not to be exceeded under any circumstances on the IAM test?

Re: Time lapse of highwat crash in Iowa

Just very recently I have given up the 2 second rule and kept in the clearest lane. Obviously if someone appears behind I change lanes. Works but not strictly to the rule of always going back to the inside lane.
