Re: A few more videos

Personally, I’d suggest that your intro is about 20 seconds too long and could be shortened to about 4-6 seconds. Most of the info is already included in titles etc so I know what I’m watching before it starts. It becomes even more noticeable when watching two videos back to back. Maybe that’s just ...

Can't remember whether this was posted before... Probably not quite as spectacular as a 1:1 model though

Re: M1 Minibus "Accident"

If you are in control of the car, then you can be considered to be 'driving' - whether that is logical or not is another matter... when you consider that someone was prosecuted for drink-driving in Scotland when they were sleeping in their camper van in a layby before catching a ferry - they had a ...

Re: What headlight bulbs?

Re: Learners on motorways

The junction in question seems plain daft to me with a 70 limit. I've been using it since the lights were introduced (many moons ago) and never feel really comfortble with it; especially as traffic going East/West may have been travelling for some considerable time at higher speeds. The junction wi...

Re: Driving instructors and learners - do they drive like each other?

Does anyone know how manufacturers decide the 'change' (up or down) revs? It’s purely based on achieving the best fuel consumption over the legislative drive cycle (i.e NEDC, urban/extra-urban). It’s a bit of a loophole. If you don’t have gear shift indicators, the legislation dictates where the ge...
