Re: Now the clocks have gone back...
Going on quite soon now. Actually I have to buy 2 new ones. As previously discussed otherwise we become a one car family if it snows. Stressed D once pointed out to Silk that he would not question my need if he had seen the road up to my house.

Re: A nice little outing
A guy that vlogs on youtube has bought one recently, sounded amazing on the video. But sadly he took it straight to the south of France before letting his father have a go! Looking fwd to him bringing it back. Chris, does your friend with the 675 prefer it to the P1, which slightly disappointed him?

I tried it in a Cayman, I think all new manuals have it. In the Cayman I drove it only came on with Sport Plus, though that may have been configurable.

I only saw him on TV as himself once, but my reaction was 'best keep the helmet on'.

Re: Cornering...
I just watched the Chris Harris video of GT3RS vs AM GT12 vs 650s and I don't think he mentioned the rear wheel steer (although it does have it) but said the "turn in" was greater than the others due to the sticky massive profile fronts and wider track. Although as he's a journalist I'm s...

Re: Cornering...
I recently drove a GT3 RS. I think that has 4 wheel steer. I. suspect that may reduce the time it takes the rear wheels to apply a cornering force by up to half a second. I did not notice anything in particular other than that it was easy to steer the car accurately. (In the 80's I had a Nissan with...

Re: Cornering...
Start to steer - steering is progressive, start early and minutely to give the tyres time to take up a turning shape, and progressively add steering until you have enough. If you have to unwind a bit of steering, or add more in a hurry, something could have been done better. But don't allow starting...

Re: Fancy buying a car?
... I'm always looking at my next car and not my last. Ah, so you've been completely taken in by the dominant global capitalist economic model of built-in obsolescence whereby a throw away consumer society dominates, where we experience the ever growing demand for innovation and the latest fashion,...
