Re: Motorists should be penalised for going just 1mph over the speed limit, Britain’s road policing chief says

In fairness, the NPCC report of his comments when speaking at the National Roads Policing Conference, never mentions his intention to prosecute at anything over the posted limit, only "...don’t assume you have a free pass if you’re over the limit." wrt speed awareness courses.

Re: Merry Christmas everyone

Just for your peace of mind I can report that a big chunk of the Cotswolds was huge fun today..... And even more fun today with a good 2-3 inches of snow in our neck of the woods overnight. OH even reported an abandoned snow plough blocking one road on her way to work in Bath this morning. I just p...

Re: VAG NOx emisions fix.

Martin - No issues with last two MOT's for OH's Audi, hence one of the reasons her telling the dealership to "stuff it" with the mod :)

Re: VAG NOx emisions fix.

OH has refused to let them near her Audi - for similar reasons you cite above. She has commented a couple of times to wonder whether the dealer has done it deviously when she feels the car isn't pulling as it should, but I can't detect any difference (although I only drive it infrequently). The deal...

Re: Driving Test Changes

Slightly off topic, but did anyone else hear about the driving test in Birmingham that was halted after police seized the instructor's car for no insurance and mot?
