Re: Merry Christmas everyone

Just for your peace of mind I can report that a big chunk of the Cotswolds was huge fun today..... And even more fun today with a good 2-3 inches of snow in our neck of the woods overnight. OH even reported an abandoned snow plough blocking one road on her way to work in Bath this morning. I just p...

Re: Which side of the road to walk on

As a general rule I always walk on the right to face oncoming traffic, always overridden by making sure I can see and be seen. As a aside, I've just got back from a very soggy 2 hour walk, and lost count of the times I've been splashed by inconsiderate motorists; in one instance more interested in p...

Re: VAG NOx emisions fix.

Coincidentally, my OH received a 'Final Reminder' from Audi yesterday which started in a large red font " We haven't seen you regarding the EA 189 NOx emissions service action required for your vehicle. " No suggestions as to what might happen after this final reminder, nor of any dire con...

Re: VAG NOx emisions fix.

OH has refused to let them near her Audi - for similar reasons you cite above. She has commented a couple of times to wonder whether the dealer has done it deviously when she feels the car isn't pulling as it should, but I can't detect any difference (although I only drive it infrequently). The deal...

Re: Driving Test Changes

Slightly off topic, but did anyone else hear about the driving test in Birmingham that was halted after police seized the instructor's car for no insurance and mot?

Re: Reminiscing

Thanks for that Bumblebee16, I wouldn't have guessed it was 34 years ago for the £1 coin.

That said, it was the year my son was born, I still had my Escort GT, the company had just swapped my Mk V Ford Cortina for a 'Jelly Mould', and AD was still a few years away from me :)

Aha - our paths must have crossed as I was also at the Worcester meeting.

Small world - I'm quite close to Geoff (as the crow flies!)

Hi Rich, and greetings from another BAM-er and Cotswoldian. Possibly meet you at a local meeting or at an event some time.
