I think the law of unintended consequences kicks in. Pushing the penalties higher will only increase the tendency of the stupid to text while holding the telephone (I like an old-fashioned word now and then) down below window level to avoid being seen and not even glancing at the road. Well, to add to the woes, I've been diagnosed with sleep apnoea and advised to stop driving pro tem. I'm handing in my AD card for the moment until I'm sorted. I hope to surface eventually after lots of CPAP and weight loss. Shit happens. :hit:

It has almost got to the point (certainly in Occupied North Berkshire) the only way to effect an overtake is to take the overtakee by surprise ....
