Re: Roads they been a changin'

We have stop/start on our van and at first I didn't like it; however now I enjoy the moments of peace it brings and it rarely causes any sort of problem. Re: Seat Position

Had you thought about adjusting your position during the drive eg; You start off in one position then change to another and back. I do this a lot in our MX5 which does not have an adjustable steering wheel. I generally start off with the seat back as far as possible and the backrest reclined (slight...

Re: Clutch - heel & toe

I wear size 46 size shoes (UK 11) and my feet are wide so most cars are awkward and there always seems to be something to catch my feet on - a bit of the steering column on the MX5; our Citroen Berlingo van however seems better built for shoes more like boats :)

Re: The joys of driving in Sussex!! Webcam footage

What this video shows most emphatically is the hideous state of the roads in Sussex and the amount of rubbish 'decorating' them.

The joys of driving in Sussex!! Webcam footage

I know driving around Sussex can be 'interesting' but this person took it to new lows:

Re: Bought a new Range Rover Sport HSE Dynamic

My advice is to go to the top and leave out the middle men. I did this a few years ago with VW and the problem was sorted out. The performance of the local (SEAT) dealer was pathetic and the customer service people almost as bad ie; working to a script. https://www.ceoemail.com/ There are other simi...

Re: Bought a new Range Rover Sport HSE Dynamic

Yes indeed it can be worse on routes you 'know' and worse still on routes you used to 'know'. The latter IMO demanding a great deal more concentration and being able to rely on 'The System' is more than useful.

Re: Bought a new Range Rover Sport HSE Dynamic

I read an article some time back which largely related to speed limit signs; how they cannot be understood by these systems was I believe something to do with the coating or dressing on them. It was many moons ago I accepted that not all signs will be seen by humans :) I was in the back of Volvo a ...
