Re: IAM Thruxton Young Drivers Skills Day

Re: Books Books Books!

Boing! For anyone who missed it first time around. Also, anyone want to offer them within their club or Group? No need to act as a 'broker', just PM for an email addresses. I'm clearing out my book collection, retaining just a few. Here's those that have to go: https://the-ride-info-new.blogspot.com...

Re: Use of Indicator for Overtaking

It is also an indication that perhaps as advanced drivers we have a tendency to over-think at times?! Ultimately - every scenario is different - looking for a rule to use To be fair to the OP (and without bothering to go back and check   :hit: ), it was more about clarification of meanin...

Re: Use of Indicator for Overtaking

It struck me later that it could have been a deliberate action, to take some attention / concentration, so that I couldn't focus on 'putting on a show'. It seems to me this would have been done to help you feel at ease. but then it's up to you how long it continues and how involved the conversation...

Re: Use of Indicator for Overtaking

How much delay do you mean, low single-figure seconds delay, or longer? Not sure where this fits in the sequence of this part of the conversation. If you explain, I'll try to answer. Irrelevant for the signalling question. Just me being interested (and a temporary thread derail). I took your origin...

Re: Use of Indicator for Overtaking

Your use of the indicator carried a meaning known only to you. A headlamp flash is probably the most extreme example of potential for 'transmt-receive' errors. Anyway, Highway Code: https://www.highwaycodeuk.co.uk/using-the-road-overtaking.html Seems to be a signal: https://www.highwaycodeuk.co.uk/...
