Re: IAM Thruxton Young Drivers Skills Day
Especially when the skid pan section says: We feel this will give you the best preparation for anything the roads and weather may throw at you! Potentially sending over-confident young drivers back out on-road. Or making them realise how hard it is to control a car in a low grip situation and why i...

Another advanced driving coach pointed out to me that an overtake only takes 4-5 seconds. If you've got that long to be thi...

Re: These shoes are made for walking
Not really. I've used Merell barefoot shoes for a while, and discovered their trail shoes add a useful bit of padding without really detracting from driving feel.

Feels a bit like a solution looking for a problem rather than telling folk to use their eyes? (and taking driving licenses away from folk who can't be bothered to do that).

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cmmgvnnjgq9o How is that an acceptable response? If it told you to drive over a cliff, would you? (I know that one's been done too  ) Rather than "writing to Apple and Google to ask them to update the maps" why aren't there questions about why driv...

Re: America, land of the...
If it could be implemented in a satisfactory way then it could mean that traffic calming measures, such as humps, cushions, and raised tables could be removed. They are a bad solution to controlling speeding because they cannot usually be traversed at the posted limit without discomfort. Worse than...
