Re: Hands on the wheel

Go see Andy Walsh at car limits and see whether your two handed steering is better than his one finger at the high speed bend

Re: Associate cannot keep to the speed limit

it seems as though she wants to be within the speed limit just so that she is not done for speeding - but doesn't want to actually change / take responsibility for it... I think that's the vast majority of drivers in a nutshell. A bit like all the locals who only want everyone /else/ do be done for...

Re: ROSPA now have a public forum

Do you think that they simply added all their members into the forum, or have they really had nearly 4,000 members sign up?! I think that AD Hub is probably the most active AD forum around and we have c. 260 members! We have 66x as many posts from c. 1/15th of the members - which means that our mem...

Re: Time lapse of highwat crash in Iowa

Keeping a two -second gap to he vehicle in front is quite a challenge with others dropping in to such a large space. Fixed that for you.. Anyone got a car with a adaptive cruise control? I've never driven one. Do you find yourself continually being pushed back in the flow of traffic as vehicles pin...

Re: Time lapse of highwat crash in Iowa

In slippery conditions, I'm often as concerned about the ability of the car behind me to stop as in front, particularly if I'm on suitable tyres while the car behind might be on nearly bald ditch finders.
