Re: Driving in the dark

Might be worth getting your eyesight checked? Apologies - that's really not meant to sound sarcastic but our eyes change as we get older and being more easily dazzled is one of them. Re: Dash cameras

I bet it would put more than £50 on to the price of a car. Just like sat-navs and audio equipment command a premium when fitted as options. Considering that in many cars you cannot even switch off stability control, ABS, EBD, power steering, what makes you think you'll get a choice of switching a c...

Re: Dash cameras

Dashcams or whatever you want to call them should be a factory fit, they will of course condemn you if you are in the wrong but will save your backside if you are in the right and have been wronged No they shouldn't. Cameras don't paint the whole picture. This is no different to the idea of all car...

Re: EU - should the UK have joined the Euro currency?

This guy seems very level headed and would appear not to have a vested interest in the EU

Re: The EU - Leave or Remain?

I am the cemetery side of 50 and have to say in response to the claims by the inners that I have ruined the future for our children and their children may I say, in my opinion, I have helped to save it, that is if the politicians follow it through and don't shaft us. The EU is a doomed and failed pr...

Re: Dash cameras

could be transferred to different cars easily. . This is the tricky bit, the front cam, if you just use the supplied gig lighter power lead and a suction cup mount, will be relatively easy to transfer the rear not so easy unless your vehicle has a rear 'cig lighter' socket. Mine are hard wired to t...

Re: The EU - Leave or Remain?

I thought that there wasn't much that could shock me but I am really quite appalled at the extent of the desire to ignore the democratic process. so am I, can't remember how many times the vote went against my preference but that's democracy, I certainly didn't throw my toys out and start asking fo...
